After all the messing around with Natwest about opening an account, I decided to go to the Nationwide on the recommendation of a friend. Walked in, filled in a few forms (in an electronic sense) and now I have an account, which I put the £100 job grant girocheque straight in, wont be able to touch it until next Wednesday, but that’s fine, stops me blowing it on something trivial, anyway, best be off to work, I start in 17 minutes!
