Mighty Pissed Off!

Today we had a tornado warning; tornado on the ground and heading towards Wichita; of course it dissipated before it hit the city but that’s not what I am pissed off about. I parked my car outside the clubhouse as that’s where the tornado shelter is located and my wife took it upon herself to; without asking to move it into a garage and she hit the wall putting a huge dent in the side and ripping off the door handle. I am really pissed off because she didn’t even ask me if I wanted it moved and right now we are not talking;, I’m still fuming five hours later. The car will need body work to pop out that dent, will also need to be sprayed and the handle replaced, that’s probably going to add up to $500+. I just wish she left it alone as the hail would have done less damage, what’s even more annoying is that she must have hit the wall and kept going to break off the door handle. To add to my annoyance, my wife is forever complaining about my driving; yes I do accelerate hard and brake hard and probably go around corners too fast but I haven’t hit anything yet. It’s only too fast if it’s beyond car or driver ability and I don’t drive beyond my limits!

Our trip to Dallas was also a mixed experience; at times I felt like I was a spare wheel; just there to make up the numbers. Erin was having a great time with her friends but I just sat there feeling excluded as I can’t contribute to a conversation when I don’t have a clue about what their talking about. There was a was a big issue with the Dallas Zoo; when we went to get food; there were flies all over our food as it sat under the heat lamps while we waited for Conner’s burger to be cook. Suffice to say we didn’t eat that food; I still have a good mind to report that place to health and safety. We decided to stay an extra day which was a better day, visiting the Dallas Aquarium which cost over $60 for two adults and one child; followed by a visit to the Fort Worth Zoo. Overall I feel that it would have been better if Erin went on her own to spend time with her friends as that was the primary reason for her visit ‘back home’ and we spent nearly $1500 in the five day trip; way too much fast food and I never want to see another McDonalds as long as I live. Check out my Facebook profile for photos of our trip to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
