D-Link WBR2310 – Worst Router Ever!

We have two D-Link WBR-2310 routers, rev 1 & 2 and both are no more than paperweights at this time. One, my wife bought before I arrived here in the US and another that came from the office where my wife works, I swapped it out for a Linksys WBR-54G2 that I had spare, which has worked flawlessly in the office since I installed it unlike the WBR-2310! Recently I installed the 2310 as a passive switch, disabling it’s routing features to add three extra Ethernet ports to my TrendNET TEW639GR wireless N router to accommodate new networked devices and last night the 2310 stopped relaying network and internet connectivity out of the blue, it had worked fine for a week previously. I’ve seen some dodgy routers/switches over the years but this particular model takes the biscuit, two routers of the same brand and model across two revisions have the same problem, clearly it’s a design flaw as I have read hundreds of forum posts across the internet describing he same problem! Suffice to say I won’t ever buy another D-Link product!
