Last night (Friday) after all the bullshit that happened during the day, I received a phone call from Richard at Goss Interactive asking me to come in for an interview on Monday, which is great as I know that I am 1 of 4 people who made the shortlist, so I am really hopeful of getting this job. It would be a major step up from where I worked before, not on a technical level, just on a professionalism level, I will have a specific job, no more changing job titles, and it looks like a fun place to work, as I already have a friend that works there as a Cold Fusion Developer. Admittedly I am a bit nervous about going to the interview as this is huge for me at this stage of my life, I just hope that I can make a good impression as I fear this will be the last roll of the dice for me in IT work.
In other news, Plymouth Argyle have manage a 2 – 1 win today at Home Park against Swindon, seems that its business as usually after all the excitement of recent weeks. With Bristol City winning 1 – 0 at home to Rushden & Diamonds, and QPR’s 4 – 1 away win at Hartlepool, the positions at the top have remained static with Argyle 5 points clear at the top of the table! still on course for the Division 2 title.
