…Interview with Goss Interactive, I think that it went relatively well, seemed to get on well enough with the interviewer Rob, Richard, who was supposed to be interviewing me, had to go home sick, so it was a one on one with Rob. Some things I could have done better, like a question CFIDE. I should know what that is, I was only shown a few days ago, but my mind just went blank, hopefully that wont count against me too much. It looks like a great place to work, nice relaxed atmosphere, and friendly people, and lots of opportunities for me to improve my skills further, and learn some completely new skills. My knowledge isn’t what it used to be, as I haven’t been actively working in IT for sometime, but hopefully, once back in IT; it will all come flooding back.
To bring the positive vibe down a little, last night, I found out the Phoenix had £200 stolen, when 3 people posing as wanting to buy tickets for a gig, managed to get behind the bar and take the deposits for private parties, and if it wasn’t for Phil’s quick thinking, they would have gotten away with my digital camera as well, the camera sustained a little cosmetic damage, but its still in good working order, better to have a little damage than lose the camera completely as that would pretty much kill off my interest in photography. Hopefully if I get the job at Goss Interactive, I will be buying the digital camera that I really want, after paying off all my debts.
