I noticed a story on Silicon.com this morning about an 18 year old student from Birstol University, who sold her virginity over the Internet for an amazing £8,400, with over 2,000 people bidding for her virginity. The lucky winner (or not so lucky winner) was a 44 year old BT engineer, of course the girl in question went running straight to the News of the World to sell her story. Now the police are investigating the case, looking at a charge of soliciting over the internet, and the News of the World has started a witch-hunt against the BT Engineer. [Story]
