Yesterday was an interesting day to say the least… firstly a friend of mine has moved in with me for a few weeks until he can sort out his housing issues. Then later I went around to his girlfriends place, then onto her friends place, and we proceeded to get very drunk. Which ended up in drinking games, and later strip drinking! which was quite bizarre to say the least. It basically worked like this, 10 cards, numbered 1 – 10, each person would pick a card, the person who got the lowest card, had to take a shot, and the person with the highest card had to take an item of clothing off, which is a good example why people really shouldn’t drink that much, but great fun non-the-less.
Not good news on the football front, Argyle lost 1 – 0 away at Barnsley, but it could have been worse, as 2nd and 3rd place teams played each other, with Bristol City coming out victorious, beating QPR 1 – 0 at home, which means that Bristol have moved onto 71 points, level with QPR, Plymouth still have a 7 point cushion at the top of the table.
Formula One, it was yet another Ferrari whitewash in today’s race, looks like 2002 is happening all over again, as Williams, McLaren, and Renault simply don’t have the pace to compete, Jenson Button and BAR seem to be the main Ferrari competitors so far, with Jenson sitting in 3rd place in the drivers championship, after his back to back podium finishes, six points behind Rubens Barrichello. BAR are also in joint 3rd place in the constructors championship. Seems that both Jenson and BAR have come of age this year, just as well as McLaren have taken a step backwards and are fighting in the middle of the pack, when their car doesn’t blow up, spectacularly today, flames and smoke everywhere.
