Can spoil my good mood today, firstly, Plymouth Argyle will be playing 1st division football next season, after beating QPR 2 – 0 at a packed out Home Park, but it wasn’t plain sailing, as it was still 0 – 0 after 80 minutes, then scored twice in the remaining 9 minutes, with Micky Evans scoring in the 81st minute and David Friio made sure of the win by scoring again in the 85th minute. Plymouth Argyle have not only secured promotion, but go up as division 2 champions after Bristol could only manage a 0 – 0 draw at home. I am sure there will be a few people out celebrating the win tonight, shame I don’t have the money to join them, oh well, I’ll just be content with my team winning the league and getting promoted.

And secondly, Britain’s Jenson Button took his first pole position, even better it happened on Ferrari’s home turf in Italy and even more amazingly, Jenson was over 2 1/2 tenths quicker than the great Schumacher. Could this be the maiden race win for Jenson? I certainly hope so, he has shown so much improvement and promise this season, he deserves the win. I bet that Jacques Villeneuve is kicking himself now for the way he had acted over the previous two seasons causing his expulsion from the BAR team.
