!Has been quite a busy one for me; firstly, I wrote an almost completely dynamic site for Katie and Luce at Plymouth Gigs, working through the night Friday and Saturday. It was too good a weekend to sit around home, so I had made two trips down to Cornwall, yesterday and today, covering around 150 miles, visiting Looe and Bude, with friends, Chris and Steve.
On Thursday night I went to the Phoenix, wow, what a surprise eh? Anyway, I actually was so impressed with both bands, No Logik and Welsh rocker’s Opium, I actually parted with £6 of my valuable beer money to buy CDs off each band! and it was good value as the CDs haven’t been out of my CD player since, top class music.
In football, Plymouth Argyle managed yet another win away at Hartlepool, coming back from 1 – 0 down to win 3 – 1, It’s still tight for 2nd and 3rd spot with only 1 point covering QPR and Bristol City, Both teams need a win this weekend, but Bristol need QPR to slip up and lose or draw to take the last automatic promotion spot. In premiership news, Wolves, Leicester City, and Leeds United have been relegated from the Premiership, so will be playing my team, Argyle next season, should be an interesting one.
In snooker, Ronnie O’Sullivan is looking increasingly likely to be the World Snooker Championship this year, after taking a 16 – 8 lead in the final, which isn’t surprising considering his form in the championship, I am happy enough for Ronnie to win, the only person who I would have liked to win more is Jimmy White.
