Plymouth Argyle 2!

!Sunderland 1! now that’s a score line to remember! I think based on this performance, Argyle have nothing to fear from the ex-premiership sides. Plymouth took the lead in the first minute courtesy of captain, Paul Wotton, and the lead was extended just before half time with Crawford’s first goal for the club. Plymouth could have made it 3 – 0, if it wasn’t for the crossbar denying Mickey Evans. Sunderland did get a consolation goal in the 71st minute, but Plymouth’s defence stood firm for the rest of the match, and secured all three points, a successful day for the Pilgrims, cementing 2nd spot for a second week!
