It’s Payday!

It’s finally happened, my first payday has arrived, it seemed like it would never come, and I now have a little over £400 in my account (only been working for 3 weeks, 90 hours). I must now resist the temptation to go out on a gadget buying spree, as I need to take care with money, need to pay off my debts that have mounted over the recent times, this month, next month should be better as my wages are going up to £5 p/h, which takes me up to £150 p/w gross wage, which isn’t too bad for 30 hours work, plus my working tax credits should be in place by that time, so its all good! I am enjoying the job, more than I expected, although the last two days have been tough as I haven’t been sleeping well and have been feeling ill, although not ill enough to keep me away from work, only one more day before I can have a rest for a day to recuperate before starting late shift (11am – 5:30pm).

Onto some more F1 rantage, this time aimed at the government for not supporting British sport, more specifically support of Silverstone. Sports Minister Richard Caborn has categorically ruled out making up the shortfall of £2 – 3 million to keep the British Grand Prix alive. It seems to me that they don’t see the bigger picture, and what the British Grand Prix means to Britain and motorsport in general, bringing billions into the UK each year, and they are squabbling over £3 million, fucking petty bureaucrats, I think they are too busy lining their own pockets and building pointless buildings (Millennium Dome anyone?) Where is all my tax pounds going exactly? It’s certainly not back into the country; just take a look at the health service, highways and railways of the UK, dont even get me started on public transport! I’d happily do time to rid the country of these idiots, although if I was going to prison, I would make sure I took every single one of them out!

Also in Formula 1, it seems that my prophecy that Jarno Trulli would be driving for Toyota before the end of the season is coming true, despite their denials! Toyota will allow Trulli to race in the Japanese Grand Prix in the place of Ricardo Zonta, and in the Brazilian Grand Prix in place of Olivier Panis, who is hanging his helmet up for the final time!!!
