Nothing to report…

…In my own life, so I am going to talk about football instead, and my home team, Plymouth Argyle (like you didn’t already know that eh?). The Pilgrims put a very sudden halt to league leaders, Wigan Athletic’s unbeaten run on their own turf at the JJB Stadium, by beating the Latics 2 – 0. To say that this was an upset is an understatement after Argyle’s recent form both home and away, but I am certainly not going to be complaining. Even Wigan manager Paul Jewel conceded, “!Today we were beaten by a better team”. Goals from Paul Wotton (41 minutes) and Stevie Crawford (69 minutes) netted the Pilgrims all three points, and a much needed boost to team morale, hopefully Plymouth can build on this result and especially get their home game back on track. Plymouth are currently sitting in 11th position in the Championship, and even more importantly 4 positions and 4 points ahead of Leeds United, how sweet would it be if Argyle could get an away win at Elland Road, and return the favour for the 1 – 0 defeat when Leeds visited Home Park.
