…But today has been a better day in work, not too busy and no stress, which is good, and I have the day off tomorrow, which is even better, as I need to sign the contracts for the new flat, then I can have the keys and start moving stuff in, which I will be hoping to get everything moved by Sunday, if everything goes to plan, if not, it doesn’t matter that much, but I would like to get everything moved as soon as possible really, don’t want to be messing around near Christmas. I need to buy a lot of new stuff as well, new sofa, new bed, as my existing sofa is too big for the flat and my current bed is almost dead, and needs replacing, also need a new desk for my computer and TV cabinet as I don’t have one, because the current cabinet is part of the fittings, so obviously cant take that with me.
Right onto some sports stuff, starting with Plymouth Argyle, who managed to win their first home game for 2 months on Saturday. But it was close to being a no score draw, as the Burnley keeper denied Argyle a goal until added time, when Burnley conceded a penalty, and Paul Wotton duly converted the chance to record a needed home victory for the Pilgrims. I hope that this can kickstart Argyles season again, and get into the top third of the table before the end of the season, reaching the playoffs is unrealistic really, but a little optimism never did anyone any harm. Also Plymouth Argyle has drawn Everton at Home Park in the third round of the FA cup, now what a game that would be to win… and I would love to be at Home Park to see it, but work is going get in the way… come on you Greens!!!
Second sports story of note is David Couthard and his possible test for Red Bull Racing, neither the team, nor David himself has confirmed anything, but David’s motorhome is at Jerez where the test is to take place, so I shall be watching with interest, as seven of the ten teams are testing there during this week, Couthard in a Williams maybe? OK, probably not, but it could happen, if you cant have a Williams car to drive, a Red Bull car will suffice!
