I have found out my Gas and Electricity meter numbers, although Transco swore that my flat didn’t exist, which is news to me obviously. But it was all sorted in the end, I have now signed up with British Gas for gas and electricity, and hopefully they will install a prepayment meter for both gas and electricity very soon, as the longer it takes, the more in debt I get as the quarterly gas and electricity costs are rising all the time. All I need to do now is wait to be contacted, and then it’s just the water (which are at rip off prices in the south west) so I want to have a water meter installed. Then it’s the breathing tax (as I like to call it), or council tax as its more commonly known. By the time all this is paid, I will have very little money to myself; it makes me wonder why I bother to work really.
