I got a phone call from my dad tonight saying that someone has been taking money from his account, but it was actually a legitimate transaction (which he didn’t know at the time), it was actually because I upgraded my 1&1 Hosting and they billed the difference. But because I completely forgot to tell him that they would be taking some money out, he contacted the bank and cancelled his card and put in a theft complaint. He is going to try to sort it out tomorrow, but now I have to go through changing to his new card, when he gets it. I really hope these fraud proceedings can be stopped or I could lose my hosting (albeit temporarily) as his bank will be asking for a refund of that amount. It would be so much easier if I had my own debit card, but my bank wont even consider me for one until I have been with them six months, which should be near the end of this month!
