First race over and done with!

!And Ferrari didn’t win the F1 race, so we have made progress, although the fancied drivers failed to perform, notably the McLaren duo, Juan Pablo Montoya and Kimi Raikonnen finishing 6th and 8th respectively. Renault delivered the promise that the R25 has been showing in pre-season testing with Giancarlo Fisichella taking the victory, 5.5 seconds ahead of Rubens Barrichello in his Ferrari and Fernando Alonso storming up from 13th on the grid to finish in 3rd. David Couthard put in an excellent performance to bring his RB1 home in 4th position, although did run in a solid second position for much of the race. The BAR’s of Jenson Button and Takuma Sato finished nowhere, literally as they pulled into the pits on the last lap as a strategic move after having an awful race, but at least they can use a fresh engine for the next GP at Sepang, Malaysia in two weeks time. The best thing of all, Michael Schumacher was taken out of the race by Nick Heidfeld when Schumacher tried to squeeze Heidfeld out forcing him onto the grass, hence killed any breaking ability, and the two collided, its about time things went against Schumacher!

In football, Plymouth Argyle didn’t manage to extend their winning streak at Pride Park against Derby. I always knew that it would be a severe test for Argyle, but the Pilgrims did themselves proud, as the score line was only 1 – 0 to the home team. Plymouth were unlucky to walk away without any points at all, with Derby keeper Lee Camp pulling excellent saves to deny Argyle, and the woodwork denied Dexter Blackstock, and Paul Wotton missed a penalty, so overall the Rams should count themselves lucky to walk away with all three points. I just hope that this loss doesn’t deflate the Pilgrims, as they have nothing to be ashamed of, In football, Plymouth Argyle didn’t manage to extend their winning streak at Pride Park against Derby. I have nothing to say about my personal life so I wont bother, well I could write about it, but you would fall asleep in next to no time, it’s really that boring!!! So it’s bye bye for now!
