Last night, which I overlooked completely because of the pain, was Plymouth Argyle’s win over fellow strugglers Watford. It wasn’t exactly a classic game, but it was a tense one, as Plymouth took the lead through Hungarian midfielder Akos Buzsaky off a Tony Capaldi cross, after just 10 minutes, Plymouth’s blushes were spared only minutes earlier by the woodwork as Watford’s Bruce Dyer was denied! So 1 – 0 to Argyle, not exactly a spectacular score line, but it dragged the Pilgrims away from the drop zone a little more, up to 16th once again, but with eight teams covered by only 4 points all the way down to 22nd position, things could change rather rapidly. So a good result away at Nottingham Forrest on Saturday is a must to be able to hold their position above the drop zone!
Back to the pain front, the toothache seems to have subsided a little bit today, doesn’t seem to be such extreme throbbing pain at the moment, maybe my body is starting to get used to the pain, so it doesn’t feel so bad, or maybe it’s because my body is pumped so full of drugs that I can feel anything. I have to admit that the right side of my face is feeling rather numb. I have run out of painkillers for the moment, so I best pop out to the chemist now to pick up some more. Although since I can’t swallow capsules (no matter how hard I try), I need to crush them to be able to take them, or dissolvable tablets would be better, but tend not to be strong enough and the effect wears off with an hour.
