I checked my mobile phone for the scores on the way home tonight at 4pm, and was pleasantly surprised by what I read, Nottingham Forrest 0 – Plymouth Argyle 2, which put me in a good mood for the walk home. Just checked again now and I find out that the Pilgrims have scored again, and its now a confirmed result, 3 – 0 away from home, what a brilliant result, where did this form come from. Dexter Blackstock is the hero of the day scoring twice, but it could so easily have been 5 – 0, if it wasn’t for the crossbar and an excellent save from Forrest keeper, Paul Gerrard. To say I am happy about this result is an understatement, hopefully this will secure Argyle’s survival this season, and onto bigger and better things next season. Plymouth have now moved into mid table, sitting in 15th position, six points off Leeds United in 10th place, how sweet would it be to take that away from them. The jury is still out of Bobby Williamson, but I think he has been given a last minute reprieve yet again with the last two results, but the big question is “can Plymouth maintain this good run to the end of the season?” and I certainly hope they can as they clearly have the talent, fingers crossed they can use that talent to stay up!
Last night I went along to the Phoenix again (shock, horror) for a second night of ear pounding. But it wasn’t anything like that, a nice relaxing melodic rock night, I even wrote a review, and met Claire, one of people interesting in helping out with Phoenix Live, and apart from having a really expensive camera that makes my £300 camera look like a toy, she is a really nice person, looks like she is quite interested in working with me on Phoenix Live, which is great. Having two quality young ladies working with me on Phoenix Live, with Dani reviewing, and Claire taking photos, it’s all good.
