Over the last few days I have been suffering from a blocked up feeling, which has left me feeling like death warmed up. Seems that Thursday wasn’t all hang over after all. I woke up on Friday morning feeling 10 times worse than I did the night before, although I did still venture into work as I really can’t afford to take a day off work, and I am extremely stubborn and it would take for me to be incapacitated completely to not go to work. Thursday night was a nightmare, although I initially got to sleep at 1am, I kept on waking up every 5 – 10 minutes gasping for breath, which meant that I only managed to get around 3 hours sleep in total, that combined with only 4 hours sleep the previous night has left me feeling rundown and tired, although not tired in a sleepy way, much to my annoyance. Anyway, that’s enough of that, onto something more positive.
Formula One; Kimi Raikkonen managed to grab pole position for the Monza grand prix, although he has been demoted 10 places because of an engine change after his engine expired in free practice. This means that McLaren team mate Juan Pablo Montoya takes up pole position, followed by Raikkonen’s championship rival Fernando Alonso. Jenson Button Qualified in 3rd position due to Kimi’s misfortunes, which is a decent result for the Brit, lets hope that he can convert that position into a podium come the end of the race, I really don’t think that Jenson is in with a realistic of winning this race, with a Renault and McLaren in front of him, and may be struggling to finish in the top 3 positions with the hard charging Raikkonen coming up through the field, assuming he doesn’t have another failure!
