Plymouth Argyle have managed another away draw at Vicarage Road, but Plymouth will be disappointed with that as Plymouth were the better team for much of the game. The Pilgrims went ahead just after the half time break when Luke Chadwick drilled the ball home from a Paul Connolly corner. Tony Capaldi could have sealed the game for the Pilgrims, but missed a sitter, riffling the ball over the crossbar. Argyle were denied in the dying moments of the game, 2 minutes into injury time infact, when Marlon King levelled the score to give the home team a point from the match. It would have been nice for Argyle to grab all three points, but a point is better than nothing, but you can’t help thinking that its two points dropped rather than one point gained! Plymouth obviously have talented players, but they are not performing well as a team at the moment. I think it’s about confidence within the team, and at the moment, it is pretty low, a few consecutive wins would make a huge difference I think, but its achieving that, it really doesn’t seem to be happening for Plymouth the last couple of seasons, maybe Argyle aren’t ready for Championship football yet? All this has left Argyle in 20th position moving above Sheffield Wednesday in the table, but we are still too close to the drop zone for comfort, but mid table is literally only a couple of wins away, dependant on other results of course!
