Finally

I have concluded my dealings with those arseholes at Beresford Ward, and I sincerely hope that I never hear from them again. Although I did expect some sort of backlash after the stinging email I sent their way on Monday expressing my dissatisfaction with their services. So that’s one positive thing and even better the final Telewest and BT bills have been considerably smaller than expected, which is great news as it means that I am not quite as financially screwed this month as I was expecting. All I need to sort out now is my working tax credits and notify my bank of my change of address, then I should be on easy street from now on. All inclusive here I am paying just under £350, which is £300 less than I was paying out before for the same services, and in some respects better services, having Sky TV, instead of Telewest (which is only a shadow of what Sky offer) and having a 10Mb connection instead of the old 2Mb ADSL connection at the old flat, even work seems to be less stressful, so just for a change I am happy with life, and now I am off to a not so local drinking establishment as I don’t have to work tomorrow morning, which is a result!

I am disappointed with the football though; Plymouth Argyle threw their home game away on Monday afternoon against Luton Town. Akos Buzsaky put the Pilgrims in front with just 20 minutes remaining, but slack defending allowed Luton to come back to win the tie 1 – 2, which is a massive disappointment for the Argyle fans. Tony Pulis really needs to pull his team up by the bootstraps if they are to do anything under his management as at this time Argyle are hardly a force to be reckoned with. Their home form isn’t very good, winning only nine games out of twenty-two and the away form is even worse, winning only three out of twenty-two. Plymouth have now slumped to 15th in the league dropping two spots from last week, which is disappointing after Argyle’s run of four unbeaten games, it would have been nice to continue that run to the end of the season and claim a top 10 position, but that’s looking increasingly unlikely now; at least our survival is secured this season!
