What a way to sign off!

Micky Evans ended his Argyle career with the winning goal at Home Park against Ipswich Town. Ipswich initially took the lead 12 minutes into the game, but Tony Capaldi levelled the scores 16 minutes later. But the story of the day was Evans scoring the goal that sealed the victory for the Pilgrims with his 81st goal of his Argyle career in the 57th minute of the game. Obviously the game itself was a sideshow to Micky Evan’s final appearance in a green shirt after 15 years of service; any true Argyle fan cant let this day go by without feeling some emotion for the Plymouth born player that has stayed loyal to the Greens for 15 years, and what a fitting way to end his days at Plymouth Argyle, and his winning goal helped the Pilgrims to the highest ever finish in the history of the Plymouth Argyle Football Club. I hope this result will help springboard an even more successful season next year!
