…and accept the penalty handed out to them. Yes it’s Ferrari and Michael Schumacher still bleating on about the penalty handed out after his qualifying spin during the Monaco grand prix. Ferrari say that the German has been hard done by being pushed to the back of the grid for a supposedly accidental spin, which I don’t believe for a minute, neither did many of the drivers and team owners in the paddock. What do they expect with his track record of so called racing incidents, notably in 1994 when he collided with Damon Hill after hitting the wall, he could have parked it, but he kept his foot in and drove straight into the side of Hill’s Williams, which robbed Damon of the world drivers title that year as the damage to his car was so bad that he couldn’t continue, and Schumacher won his first title that year by one point. And again in 1997 when he tried to take out Jacques Villeneuve when he was leading the championship by a few points, but this time he was unsuccessful as he just bounced off Villeneuve’s Williams into the gravel trap and Villeneueve went on to finish third to claim the world drivers title for that year. The FIA took action that time as well stripping Schumacher of his points for the whole season. Schumacher is probably the most talented driver on the grid, so I don’t understand why he resorts to cheating; and for the most part he gets away with it, which is extremely annoying. Ferrari and Schumacher have had more decisions go their way than go against them, so I think they should just shut the fuck up! It’s no secret that I don’t like Michael Schumacher, and haven’t liked him since the incident with Damon Hill in Adelaide ’94, robbing the Briton of his first Formula One title!
