They’re Back!

After a week of waiting, 1&1 have finally come to my rescue and restored the missing archives, so the site is finally complete again, and all the great rants that happened have been restored for the world to read! So a big thanks goes out to the people at 1&1 internet for restoring the deleted files. I have to admit that I had pretty much given up hope of getting those files back after not hearing anything back since Monday, but they came through in the end, and for that I am very grateful as it was seriously annoying me missing two months of the archive after maintaining the archives for more than two years.

Work has been quite stressful over the last couple of days, mainly because I have been left alone to do the job of two people when it has been hectic. They were short staffed outside and they took the person that should have been helping me out to work behind the counter. Then they start moaning at me that I am not getting the cutlery and crockery out quick enough. Of course I had something to say in reply to that, which went along the lines of “I am not a miracle worker, I can only do one thing at a time” – eventually I got my helper back, but not until I had been struggling on my own for four hours. The last couple of days have taken its toll on me, leaving me feeling really tired and run down, but at least I get tomorrow off to chill out and watch the grand prix, and hopefully Jenson Button will be able to capitalise on his 4th place starting position and manage to grab a few points, maybe even a podium assuming his Honda doesn’t fail again, it’s been less than bulletproof this season!

Finally it seems that Ibad Muhamadu is out of Plymouth Argyle’s price bracket at this time. Apparently his current club Cercle Bruges ramped up the price agreed initially, and the deal fell through. So the striker is now on his way back to Belgium. Personally I don’t think Argyle needed him anyway, with Argyle already having three good strikers in the form of Ebanks-Blake, Chadwick and Hayles, and of course there are many proven goal scorers in midfield as well, Paul Wotton for one! I still think Argyle are in better shape than last year!
