In the last week I have been cut off by Orange for non-payment. Which wasn’t really the case, I had missed a month but planned to pay the whole outstanding amount before the next due date. But they cut me off on the day that I was going to pay off the total amount. I tried to pay them using their online system and it said it accepted my payment but the payment never left my bank account. I tried to call them up to pay the bill and all I get is “calls from this phone have been barred” The Orange shop in town was about as much use as a handbrake on a canoe, just referring me back to the same number I called beforehand! So I gave up on that and used the money to buy a new phone which has turned out to be a disappointment. It’s a T-Mobile Samsung U600 and the phone looks cool and works well in operation just that getting a signal indoors is a real pain. I need to leave the phone on the window sill to be able to get a signal, then it isn’t strong enough to maintain a phone call. I have been doing some reading into the problem online and it’s the phone as I found several instances of people having the same problem across all networks on this specific model. Maybe because of the tiny size of the phone it doesn’t have enough space for a decent aerial internally. It works flawlessly outdoors, its just indoors that’s the problem; which is a pain!
