Mounting Costs!

Choosing to stay here in the US is having a serious financial toll on me, I now find myself close to £1500 in debt to my father. And I can’t even afford to cover my mobile phone bill which totals £106 in one month because of O2’s extortionate international roaming charges at nearly £1 per minute. I don’t see how I can make enough money in three months to pay off this debt, let alone afford the return airfare to the US. I’m starting to wonder if I can get myself out of this situation and the feasibility of making the permanent move to the US as soon as I had hoped. Of course there is no guarantee that I can find work back in Plymouth at all with the current financial climate back home. It seems that I am stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place!

Liverpool moved top of the Premiership after their lacklustre draw with West Ham at Anfield on Monday because Chelsea lost 1 – 2 to Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Liverpool were definitely lacking without point man Fernando Torres but the Reds were unlucky to not take all three points. Both Albert Riera and Sami Hyypia had shots cleared off the line and two penalty appeals turned down. By the same token West Ham could have won the game but the woodwork denied Craig Bellamy. All credit to West Ham for defending resolutely for the 90 minutes to claim a point from Anfield. Liverpool really need to step up their game if they are to win the Premiership title to really take advantage when the other title contenders slip up!
