It’s just the same as being engaged really, nothing has changed in the way we feel about each other. The actual ceremony was a bit of an anti-climax really (but we made up for that this morning, if you get my drift… the new wife is sleeping right now). Anyway, the ceremony was almost too quick, it was over and done with within 2 minutes. We were only married in the courthouse by Judge David Kaufman so I wasn’t expecting much but more than what it was. We didn’t even sign any documents or registers (which seems a little odd to both of us), everything went exceptionally smoothly, worryingly smoothly in fact. But we are very happy to have done it and have no regrets whatsoever. It was only a matter of time, it would have happened sooner or later so might as well get it over and done with so we can stay together instead of having to fly back and forth to the UK constantly racking up even more debt to pay off. We can now get the ball rolling on applying for work permits, VISA’s and all the bureaucratic bullshit! I didn’t have a White Christmas, but I did have a White Wedding, even if we were both dressed in black!
