Erin has been having what we think is an adverse reaction to the medication she is taking for her coughing fits. She has been feeling faint all day and has had to support herself on something nearby to stop herself from falling. But tonight while tending to Conner, she fell right in front of me, I was too far away to catch her and she was lucky to not hit her head on Conner’s dresser. That’s when I suggest she should get it looked at so now she is at the emergency room with our friends, Travis and Amber. I’ve stayed home to make sure that Conner is OK, Amber offered to stay but I thought that it’d be best for me to stay just in case Conner does get up instead of finding a stranger here. Conner has met Amber once but I doubt that he’ll remember. It’s best for Erin to go get it checked out rather than saying she’s fine as she invariably does when things are not fine. It probably is just side effects from the drugs she is taking as dizziness is one of the side effects. But if she is so dizzy that she falls to the ground, then it could be something more serious. I also think that part of it is that she is so stressed about work, the manager dumps so much bullshit work on her, despite Erin already being overloaded with more work than she can cope with. And now the management company are taking almost $500 per month out of her paycheck for what they call “housing tax” – We are supposed to have a free apartment as part of the improved pay deal she was offered last year for her to stay in her position here at Buttonwood Tree. I believe that Conam are reneging on the deal and charging Erin rent and calling it tax, which is illegal as only the government can charge ‘tax’. The market value is only $600, so she is paying more than what she should if she were paying rent given that Erin would get 20% off the rent, which would be a total of $480 payable rent! By having this ‘free’ apartment, Erin has lost her additional benefits so the net result is we are much worse off because she is paying ‘tax’ and not rent, therefore doesn’t qualify for benefits like she used to!
