How do you punish someone…

…that doesn’t understand that they are being punished? This is the dilemma Erin and I are facing right now. We have taken everything away from Conner, all his toys, computer games, even his night light, and he still seems to be completely unphased. He got in trouble last night for pooping in his pants yet again; he knows he needs to go but unless we force him he simply will not go to the bathroom. earlier in the week, he wet his bed because he didn’t want to get up to use the bathroom and a few days before he pooped in his pants again over at his Grandmothers house. I try to explain to him why he is being punished but I might as well save my breath as he doesn’t even wait for me to finish before starting back up with some irrelevant racing or Hot Wheels nonsense. Erin and I are at a loss of what to do next; corporal punishment doesn’t work; shouting doesn’t work and even taking away all his toys doesn’t work, we even took away his Hot Wheels DVDs that he always likes to watch. The ADHD medicine that we trialled on him didn’t make a difference; infact made him worse; we are thinking of trying another medicine but I doubt that’ll work either. Where do we go from here?!?!… god only knows as Erin and I have no clue.

On the eve the second race of the new F1 season in Melbourne I am about to talk about the procession that was the first race in Bahrain. I know it’s only the first race but it seems that the new rules have made F1 even more dull and processional than ever before and of course there wasn’t 13 teams on the grid because of the stupidity of the FIA not allowing Stefan GP to race after the collapse of USF1. Fernando Alonso went on to win the race because of reliability issues with the Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel; the Red Bull’s look a class above so far this season closing out the front row for tomorrows Australian Grand Prix followed by the Ferrari’s. It remains to be seen whether this race in Melbourne will be any better as Bahrain (or Borerain as it has been named by some) doesn’t encourage overtaking, Australia does encourage overtaking but is the 200 Litre fuel tank too much of an equaliser for racing to be exciting? I foresee some mid season changes happening if racing is still dull after six races. Car specifications need to make a big step back in time for the refuelling ban to work; maybe back to pre-1998 specifications with lower, wider cars, punch a larger hole in the air to allow other cars to follow and slipstream through high speed corners, which is impossible presently as the air behind the car is so disturbed.

Plymouth Argyle are in serious relegation trouble not being able to string a few good results together. Since my last update; Argyle have had two good wins against Bristol & Ipswich but lost three and drawn one. Plymouth are now six points from safety and it could have been more but the teams around them are equally struggling. I think maybe a step down to league one would be good at this point as the Championship is fast becoming Premier League 2 with many of clubs playing in this league are former Premiership clubs. Unless the new owners are willing to spend out of new more expensive players; Plymouth’s time as a Championship club is likely to end soon.
