T-Mobile USA are lying cheating bastards, I was told by a representative at the T-Mobile store on Kellogg Ave & Rock Rd, Wichita KS that I was eligible for the mail-in rebate on my Samsung Exhibit 4G which should have cost me $79 after rebate, I paid $129 + tax in-store. I randomly check my rebate status on T-Mobile.com today and find it was denied over a month ago, which is my first annoyance, they did not notify me by post, Email, text or telephone. I call up customer service and they refused to tell me why I was denied my rebate, by this point I am fuming so I slam the phone down (in a metaphorical sense, kinda hard to slam down a cell phone). So it seems to me that they blatantly lie to get you to buy a more expensive phone thinking you’ll get $50 back in a few weeks. I am now locked into a 2 year contract with a company that I want nothing to do with, you can be assured that once the contract is up, I will be moving elsewhere, I don’t want to do business with a company with such poor business ethics. I’m not used to such things, back in Europe, the price you see is the price you pay, none of these cloak and dagger sales tactics.
